Our Services

With a core focus on the environmental, scientific and medical communities, EarthNews Journal develops video communications programs that stimulate interest and build enthusiastic audiences over time.

EarthNews Journal's primary communications vehicle is the video series. Rather than individual ad hoc video reports, a well-planned series feeds your web site with regular updates and provides a continuing draw to hold - and grow - your audience. With decades of experience in a variety of media disciplines, our goal is to produce valuable communications assets that provide insight, perspective and context in areas of interest to the public. Along the way, we have found that telling your stories also helps build a stronger and more integrated public outreach program and also enhances the communications skills of your staff.

Our production process begins with an understanding of your communications needs. Targeted stories and messages are identified, and an outline of required video assets defined. Stories are told by the people doing the work because we believe these are the people whose passion and vision bring an organization to life. Jerry Kay conducts the interviews, in person or via Skype, as the situation demands. Drawing upon original location footage, still photographs, and client resources, the editing process begins. Music, B-roll, titles and credits are added and a copy is submitted for review. This journalistically credible process has proven to be quite efficient in producing literally thousands of reports on time and on budget. Once the report is approved, it can be embedded in your website, distributed via YouTube and other video sites, and shared via a variety of social media options, services which are developed and managed by the EarthNews Journal team.

Please contact Jerry Kay who will be glad to help you reach your communications goals in the most productive way.
